Middletown is in the Middle of a diverse group of industries including biotechnology, pharmacology, manufacturing technology, advanced materials, paper packaging, aerospace, and computer software.
For example:
Armco Technology Center – Middletown. The Center's mission is to "conduct product research, process research, product development, and market/product development in support of Armco, a $2 billion specialty steel company, and its customers worldwide." The Center employs 141 full-time staff with 29 Ph.Ds, 28 M.A.s, 18 B.S. and 22 Associate degrees.
