Middletown's Industrial & Commercial Land
When this development truism was crafted, its creator certainly had Middletown in mind.  Consider these facts:

  • Middletown is located right on Interstate 75 between two major metropolitan markets, Cincinnati and Dayton.
  • Middletown is the middle of the development boom in Butler and Warren Counties, one of Ohio's fastest growing regions.
  • Middletown has ready access to material, natural, educational and human resources.
  • Middletown is situated over one of the largest natural aquifers in the U.S.
  • Middletown is strategically positioned for distribution.

Companies representing numerous industries and commercial enterprises have recognized this strategic advantage - and are using it to maximize their competitiveness.  As a result, business growth in Middletown has created a strong, stable and diversified economy.

At the same time, the city continually seeks to expand new development sand has identified several; sites for commercial and industrial growth.  Three of these locations are clustered around the i-75 interchange, in the area of Towne Mall and adjacent retail centers.

Two industrial parks have been created west of the interstate.  Both are easily accessible via major routes and one provides direct rail access.  Sites ranging in size from two to 100 acres are available.

The city encourages development as prescribed in its land-used plans.  This strategy ensures that growth is sensible and uses are compatible.
